Role:

Services Consulting Engineer

In this role you will play a key role in:

Customer facing solution validation service engineer, providing support to customer on validating their solution, role will include below responsibilities:
Engage with customers and other Cisco stakeholders on successful planning and execution of validation engagements.
Support Webscale or Enterprise customers to accelerate implementation of new platforms/solutions.
Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements.
Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, author and execute test plans, and document results.
Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
Collaborate with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams to meet customer needs
Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts.
Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Profile:

10+ years experience working Cisco Campus.
Routing and Switching experience, R&S and/or DC CCNA Required, CCNP Preferred.
Strong knowledge of NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR and IOS configuration.
Strong knowledge of Cisco DC and Enterprise platforms (Catalyst Platforms).
Experience in VXLAN, LISP, BGP, OSPF Routing, Data Center Switching.
Programming experience (Python, ROBOT).
Ixia/Spirent test tool knowledge.
Test and Validation experience.

Additional skills desired (one of these):

SDWAN skills.
Wireless WLC, gRPC.
IOS-XR knowledge.

Review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create corresponding User STpries / PBIs for resolution. Monitor the status of Databricks jobs and ADF pipelines. Understand the concepts of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes. Work with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Data Factory and Python / Spark (we use Azure Databricks).
