Role: Support Engineer (DevOps) Your role: Collaborate in Agile projects to deliver high-quality software. Ensure continuous support and maintain on-call availability to promptly address any critical issues or emergencies that may arise, contributing to the seamless operation and reliability of our systems. Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in all activities. Troubleshoot and solve complex problems effectively. Your Profile: Advanced experience using OS Linux. Proficient in performing cluster-level administration on the Kubernetes platform. Expertise in creating and maintaining scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and alerts on the Kubernetes platform. Medium-advanced experience using SQL databases (e.g., make queries, manage tables to search or update information). Demonstrates a strong understanding of Docker technology. Experience in writing Docker files to optimize containerized environments. Proficient in utilizing NewRelic (APM, Insights, Infrastructure) for comprehensive system monitoring. Skilled in using Splunk for querying and dynamic dashboard creation, ensuring a proactive approach to monitoring and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Jenkins. Role: DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) Your role: We are seeking a skilled, customer-focused DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing operational and troubleshooting support for our Kubernetes-based platform services, including Port.io, DevSecOps framework called Argo. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of container orchestration, cloud-native application deployments using DevSecOps frameworks, and troubleshooting distributed systems. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with developers, operations teams, and clients to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our platform services. Provide technical support for Kubernetes clusters, Port.io platform services, Medtronic's Argo DevSecOps platform, and resolving customer issues and ensuring system reliability. Monitor the health and performance of Kubernetes clusters, Port.io, and Medtronic's Argo environments using tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana. Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to networking, storage, security, and application deployments with in Kubernetes. Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve platform stability and automate routine maintenance tasks. Help troubleshoot container images from teams experiencing challenges getting their containers to run correctly. Manage and optimize Helm charts, Argo CD, Flux CD, YAML configurations, and other deployment artifacts. Using, configuring, and maintaining GitLab CI runners. Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Ensure timely resolution of incidents and communicate status updates to stakeholders. Your Profile: Proven experience in managing and supporting Kubernetes clusters in production cloud and on-prem environments. Familiarity with Port.io (or similar platform services) and cloud-native technologies. Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker. Proficiency in writing and debugging Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or ELK stack. Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, Linux systems, and distributed systems.
