    This position is a technical role within the software development organization focused on assuring the quality on our development products, features, bugs & enhancements. This role must have a solid understanding of the firm's business, the product development lifecycle and experience implementing enterprise-class software. In this role, you should have an eye for detail and an ability to analyze the functionality of our products. Ultimately, you will design and write high quality tests for our products. Role: Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, IS, IT or related field. Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience working both with peers and more senior executives. Technical Requirements: 5+ years of experience on similar roles. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail. Analytical mind and problem-solving skills. SQL server experience is a must. Experience with AWS (Codepipeline, Codebuild, Lambda, S3 among others) is desirable. Experience on test automation tools is desirable (Selenium, Serenity, Webdriver, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, JUnit, TestNG ). Desirable experience with Serverless Framework or Serverless Architectures. Desired English Level: CEFC2 TOEIC915 TOEFL82.5 Exposure to the FinTech industry desired. Duties and Responsabilities: Implement and develop manual and automated test for both web and windows applications. Design and develop test cases for front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, and backend systems across several programming languages with a focus on JavaScript, ReactJS and /or SQL to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation. Work with the Product owners, Delivery Director, and colleagues to define process and strategy associated with automation. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Report bugs to the development team quickly and in a way easy to reproduce. Write test cases for new products and features. Review and analyze product requirements. Other duties as assigned. Role: Automation Quality Assurance Engineer Requirements: Vocational training in systems engineering or related careers. Two (2) to five (5) years of experience. Solid knowledge in JavaScript / TypeScript. Experience in creating frameworks using BDD/TDD. Experience in JavaScript driven testing tools is an asset. Have experience in automation testing or coding or Backend services is an asset. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Nice to have: Knowledge of software development life cycle, methodologies and testing. Knowledge of Postman or any API testing tools. You have experience in Cypress. Knowledge of financial services, particularly within the insurance realm, which is considered an asset. Experience working in a fast paced agile environment. Experience with cloud technologies and modern pipelines are an asset. Knowledge of quality assurance techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools. You have expert ability to apply quality assurance knowledge to in-depth testing and test plans. Ability to apply concepts of Unit, system, regression, product, integration and acceptance testing. Responsibilities: Write test plans and test cases throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use casesPlan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests. Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools. Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities. Review tools implementations and encourage best practices and sound design principles while remaining practical and deadline driven. Work closely with Engineering team to perform early testing on components prior to integration builds. Manage defect tracking; monitor and report results. Report QA status, as appropriate, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines. Train other departments on the use of custom developed tools.
