About The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Java and AWS to join our innovative team. As an SDET, you will design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and strategies for cloud-native applications. Your strong AWS experience will be critical to ensuring the quality, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions in a cloud environment. Role: QA Automation / SDET Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or related role, with strong automation experience in Java. Proven expertise with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and microservices using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices. Solid knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6. Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Familiarity with AWS security best practices, including IAM roles and policies. Experience with databases and writing SQL queries. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools using Java to validate cloud-based applications and services hosted on AWS. Develop and execute tests for APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB). Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to ensure testability and cloud best practices. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines leveraging AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or third-party tools. Conduct performance and scalability testing for applications deployed on AWS. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Monitor and analyze test results, identifying and resolving issues related to AWS-based services. Optimize and scale testing environments using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS).
