    Join our talented team! What we are looking for: A Senior Java Developer will design and develop high volume, low latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability. You will support web-based application development and maintenance, and contribute to and grow our software engineering competency. The Senior Java Developer must have broad experience in web application development. Financial or Mobile Services experience is a distinct plus. Responsibilities: Develop software under scrum methodology, producing high-quality features that adhere to acceptance criteria. Review other developers' code to ensure they also build high-quality features and code following best practices. Collaborate with project managers to implement end-to-end solutions for complex projects Create technical designs for features and work with architects to finalize designs. Maintain and support the applications you build. Qualifications and education requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. Advanced English Level Required. 5+ years of experience in Java development. Experience with Spring framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc). Write well-designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java / J2EE platforms. Experience in implementing RESTful web services. Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and NoSQL. Experience with JBoss application server. Preferred Skills: Experience with test-driven development. Experience designing APIs supporting client applications. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Someone who has a deep source of technical knowledge in Drupal 9, with experience crafting robust web solutions, and authoring experiences. We're looking for someone with a capacity to acquire new skills and frequently seeks out alternative solutions and techniques to improve what we create. What you'll do: Drupal Site building. Build creative solutions primarily in Drupal. Plan and create content types and data structures in Drupal. Create themes with semantic HTML and build using tools such as grunt/gulp/wepback/postcss/sass. Work in local environment, deploy to staging for review, and deploy work to production. Review code from others and provide helpful feedback. Stay on top of industry trends and techniques and share them with your colleagues. Test new approaches to understand benefits and determine project fit. Think through and build to performance and accessibility challenges. Working with other disciplines: Our project teams include Strategists, Project Managers, User Experience Designers, Visual Designers, Front-End Devs, Back-End Devs, Dev-Ops, and our clients. You have a good understanding of content type modeling in Drupal, search API, migrate API, config management, deployment workflows, hosting requirements, Composer, Varnish, CDN, custom module development. Ideally, experience in an agency context. Acquia Certification is a bonus. PHP/Drupal: Experience implementing custom plugins/modules and custom themes. Understanding of CMS APIs and standard methodologies. You have a strong understanding of Drupal's configuration management system, and Composer. Experience with reviewing code and managing deployment workflows to production environments. You have experience building small integrations with systems outside of Drupal (such as single sign-on, external data sources, migrations). Experience with Wordpress is a huge plus but knowledge of and experience with Drupal is needed for the role. Command Line pro: You use drush or wp-cli regularly. GIT: feature branches, merging, rebasing. JavaScript: Be able to build basic JS components such as mega-menus, slideshows, etc. CSS / CSS3 : Able to use SCSS and Post Css processors. Bonus if you use BEM/SMACS. Understanding of usability and user-experience. Understanding of accessibility.
