Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Backend Development using Object-oriented languages such as: Java, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, RESTful, APIs, SQL/NoSQL Databases, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Interest in learning Golang (prior experience not required). Familiarity with Agile Methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools. What You'll Do: As a Sr. Software Engineer in our Backup Engineering team, you will: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services Contribute to scalable, cloud-based microservices and modern system architecture. Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and other engineers in a fast-paced environment. Tackle real-world performance, reliability, and maintainability challenges. Learn and apply new technologies like GoLang and work with distributed systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the technical evolution of the product. Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment practices. About The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Java and AWS to join our innovative team. As an SDET, you will design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and strategies for cloud-native applications. Your strong AWS experience will be critical to ensuring the quality, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions in a cloud environment. Role: QA Automation / SDET Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or related role, with strong automation experience in Java. Proven expertise with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and microservices using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
